Were have wached a movie aboute sustainability (ice age) thats when we started do the topic.

Green house gases are warming up the earth, like global warming, it makes a hole in the ozone layer . We need to stop using paper.

ReplyDeleteIf humans do not start to live sustainably global warming will take over the planet and we'll end up somewhat like Venus. All natural things would be killed :( :( :( , and we would probably be wiped out too, as are all the bad guys in movies. They are defeated by their own mistakes. We cannot let this happen to us, and, even worse, the environment, as it wouldn't be its fault.
ReplyDeleteI think that if you live close to your school you should try walking instead of driving. I know driving is way easier and faster but it also is bad for plants. Without plants we cant breath! Because cars run on petrol/gas and it could affect how the plants grow.
ReplyDeleteSustainability means to recycle reduce and reuse. The earth is getting warmer because of global warming. When we use cars and when factories run they let off fumes (they are called green house gasses)that destroy the ozone layer. If the ozone layer gets ruined even more the water levels will rise and cover islands and the polar ice caps will melt away.

ReplyDeleteIf you go to school and it is cliose try walking instead of driving because cars have a lot of bad gases that are very bad for the atmosphere. The ozone layer has holes in it because of the green house effect.
Relating to sustainability I don't know too much, but can tell you what the greenhouse effect is. The greenhouse effect is the fact that we have three gases in our atmosphere: methane, nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide. these three gases keep our planet cool by reflecting the sun's UV (ultraviolet) rays away from the planet. These rays are the ones that give us sunburn. They also warm up the world by reflecting the other rays. Thank you for reading this!
ReplyDeleteBeing sustainable means doing things to help the environment like recycling things that can be recycled instead of throwing it in the normal bin. We have global warming because people can not be bothered caring about our environment. For people who don't know what global warming is this I the meaning. Global warming is were our earth is heating up because green house gases are getting trapped and are heating the earth up. Since our earth is getting heated up it is melting the ice so our polar bears will not have a home.

ReplyDeleteUsing a bus or train is good for the environment because instead of using cars that only hold a couple of people, you can use other transport that holds more people. Cars buses and trains all use gas. One train is like one car but trains hold more and if everyone used trains and buses it would be a little less pollution. Tarlia 5B

ReplyDeleteUsing sustainable and reusable object is good for the environment because it wont waste so much product. Hear are some ways to be more sustainable; When you go to the shops with your parents ask them to bring their own reusable bags so you don't have to waste plastic and use the plastic bags they have at the super market and also if you if you don't want to have a home cooked meal find somewhere close that you can walk to or take the train or bus because then you don't put as much pollution in the air and you don't get those nasty and wasteful takeaway boxes. Please use my ideas and help save the planet
