Well you could ban icy poles!!! Even for a week. Or house points for collecting them. And you could give the children who have not been living up to expectations yard duty.. Good Luck Cheers Karen
I think we could make an area just for people to eat icy poles, or we could just put out more bins so people will put their rubbish in the bin closest to them. if the teachers or the school leaders catch children dumping their icy pole wrappers they should be banned from eating icy poles for a whole week!!!
I think that we should put out more bins to where the childs usually eat. Kids could now put their rubbish in the bin instead of just dumping their rubbish because they can't be bothered going to the bin.
I think we should ban icy poles so we don't have so many wrappers everywhere.I also think that if a teacher sees a student they should remind the student.
What a lot of great ideas. As of Monday we will put more bins around the eating areas. If a lot of rubbish continues to be left around the yard we will then have to stop selling icy poles.
You can help by reminding others to eat icy poles in the correct area and to put their rubbish in the bin.
Perhaps we could combine Karen and Bailey's ideas. Ban only those children seen dropping rubbish and reward those who choose to pick it up with house points.
Parktone Primary opened in 1961, in a quiet residential street of Parkdale. The school grounds are spacious and attractive. Traditional classrooms have been transformed into stimulating learning centres incorporating computer technology. Our motto 'Always Moving Forward' defines the mindset of our teachers, parents and students. We are always moving forward in our understanding and in the ways we work together.

ReplyDeleteI think each week/mounth we could have a clean up day and try to cut down the limit on rubbish around the yard.
ReplyDeleteYou could get out more bins and place them nearer to the places children play more often.

ReplyDeleteI think you could put the bins in the places were they put there rubbish the most.
ReplyDeleteWe could make our school look prettier by puting rubbish in the bin because we have to put other peoples rubbish in the bin.
ReplyDeleteWe should ask people to put their wrappers in the bin.
ReplyDeleteWe should make sure we clean the yard every day after lunchtime.
ReplyDeleteI would like to put all of the litter in the rubbish bin to make this school look better.
ReplyDeleteThe children just need to be more careful and think about what they are doing to their nice school.
ReplyDeleteI think we should ban icy poles so we don't

I want to pack up in the classroom quicker and be a better reader
ReplyDeleteMaybe we could put a bin in the playground. This may be where kids drop wrappers most.

ReplyDeleteI think we should have more bins out to stop people littering.
ReplyDeleteI also think that we should write the persons name on the icy pole wrapper when they buy it with a permanent marker so they can't litter.
Emily I love the idea of writing names on the icy poles. As we will be serving soup this Term, we could write names on the cups.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
Em that's a fantastic idea!! I love that idea, and I think we should definately do it this term for soup cups.
