So hard to pick my favourite... am a Collingwood supporter, so obviously that was a big highlight for me... the tennis clinics are so well run and we have more this week and next... the District Cross Country was fantastic, I was so proud of all of our 3 - 6's who competed and it was brilliant to have Jacob make it through to the next round... but, if i have to pick one, the House Sports Day was my favourite! I love that it was the entire school all down at Dolamore together, participating in sport and having fun! What a magnificent day!! Mrs Mitchell.
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree with Mrs Mitchell. It was so fantastic to see all the Parktone Students in their house colours! Every child did a wonderful job scoring points for their team!!
DeleteMy favourite sport is probably the tennis clinic the people really liked me there!:) I was really good at it and it was a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!! :D With this sport it's really easy to sharpen the saw. You do stretches with your arm you put strength into your swings and when the tennis racquet hits the ball it will go flying away!!!!!!! :P
ReplyDeleteIf you keep practicing you'll be so fit! :)
Good advice Dan!!
DeleteI have got to say house athletics day because we got to do so many types of sports. My favourite sports were hurdles and high jump. I realy tried my best others did too but at the end of the day my team won! Go yellow house.
ReplyDeletethat's all we can ask Tarlia, great job!
DeleteI liked the tennis clinics. I sharpened the saw by stretching my arms and it also made me get really good at it and it is lots of fun. They taught me how to do a forward hand and back hand and how to hold the racquet. They are really good teachers. You should try tennis too!!
ReplyDeleteyou're right Anika, we're very lucky to have SEDA coaching in our school!
DeleteMy favourite activity was hurdles on house athletics day because it included lots of speed to get the hight and I love using speed. It was very fun and exciting, everyone had fun!

keep sharpening the saw so you can be fit.

I Also liked the tennis clinic I learnt how to do a back hand and a fore hand I'm really looking forward to the next lesson I think we are learning about serving.
